Delivery Information
We undertake to despatch goods from stock or direct from our suppliers within two working days. We use Royal Mail and other reputable carriers to deliver throughout the U.K. On occasion we may ship goods via a courier service which will require a signature on delivery.
Certain products are dispatched directly from our suppliers. All suppliers assure us of prompt same or next working day processing.
Out of Stock
As many of our products are dispatched directly from our suppliers, on rare occasions stock may be unavailable. If you have made a purchase and stock is unavailable, you will be contacted and offered to either keep your order on our system for dispatch when the item becomes available or an immediate refund will be issued.
UK Delivery charges are based on weight shown below.
Costs will be calculated automatically by our website based on the total weight of the order. UK VAT is included in the delivery charge.
European Delivery Charges are based on weight shown below.
International costs will be calculated automatically by our website on the total weight of the order.
Our website makes every effort to calculate carriage costs as accurately as possible. However, there may be occasions when some items being shipped overseas may be routed through a specialist courier. This may incur a surcharge.
Cancelling orders
It is possible to cancel all or part of your order at any time following the placing of your order until the end of the seventh working day after the date of the receipt of the goods, provided, if you have already received the goods, that you have not altered or damaged them in any way, or, in the case of packaged items, that you have not unsealed them from their shrink-wrap, blister or cellophane packaging.
If you have not yet received the goods simply use our contact page and enter the book title or item description, quantity and your order number and specify the fact that you wish to cancel your order. (You will find your order number on the ecrbookshop order acknowledgement sent to you by e-mail after your order was placed.) We will contact you to confirm the cancellation of your order, or if the goods have already been processed for dispatch, to confirm arrangements for return of the goods.
Goods Damaged in Transit or Faulty
For faulty goods or items damaged in transit, please contact us immediately using our contact page enter the book title or item description, quantity and your order number and specify the fact that the goods have been damaged in transit. We would then ask that you send the damaged item(s) and a copy of your ecrbookshop.com invoice and send to the following address:

Please ensure that all goods to be returned are adequately packaged for their return journey. Any return items not received cannot be credited.
We will then endeavour to send you a replacement by return and credit your postage costs based on Royal Mail Large Letter first class postage rates.
Returns and unwanted goods
Provided that you provide notice of your wish to return the goods in question within 7 days of receiving your goods by using contact page and enter the book title or item description, quantity and your order number and specify the fact that you wish to return your order. (You will find your order number on the ecrbookshop order acknowledgement sent to you by e-mail after your order was placed.). We will then contact you with a returns authorisation number.
Please be aware that we can only accept returns of goods provided that they have not been altered or damaged in any way including 'breaking of the binding' in the case of books or in the case of packaged items, that you have not unsealed them from their shrink-wrap, blister or cellophane packaging.

Please ensure that all goods to be returned are adequately packaged for their return journey. We recommend that a registered courier or insured registered mail service is used as any return items not received cannot be credited.
Once you have notified ecrbookshop.com within the requisite time period that you are returning your order, provided any goods received by you are returned to ecrbookshop.com in the condition which they were delivered to you, we will re-credit your debit or credit card the amount previously debited for the goods in question.
